LAND FORCES 2022 wrap-up and VADAAR 2 in action

The largest LAND FORCES International Land Defence Exposition ever held has successfully ended after three solid days. There were 810 exhibitors, major industry announcements and various engagement opportunities. We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand, showed interest in our technology, and engaged in interesting conversations while walking the show floor.

VADAAR 2, our after-action review connection framework, was used at our partner’s booth – Applied Virtual Simulation.  Our software streamed many sources from different destinations, all time-synchronized and presented on a big screen.

VADAAR 2 was used for different elements of the scenario including live monitoring, and playback to clearly present multiple training participants working jointly in a simulated exercise.

Without additional hardware, VADAAR 2 easily scales to enable live streaming of multiple PCs across a network to displays. All video, audio, and data are time synchronized. Bookmarks can be added to focus on precise teaching moments.

The Queensland Government was a host sponsor of Land Forces, and had its own state pavilion, with 32 companies on the official stand and many more around the halls.

“Over the past few days, Land Forces 2022 has provided the opportunity for Australian defence industry, including many leading Queensland companies, to showcase the latest technologies from across the sector,” said a member of the Queensland Government’s Defence Jobs Queensland team.

“It has also provided a great forum to discuss innovative and collaborative opportunities to build Australia’s sovereign defence capability to ensure we are prepared for the growing challenges in the international security environment.”

Justin Giddings, CEO of LAND FORCES 2022 organiser AMDA Foundation, said the event had achieved its goal of bringing the land defence community together in a safe, collaborative environment.

It was a pleasure for ImmersaView to exhibit at Land Forces 2022 and be part of the Queensland Pavilion. We look forward to continuing working as one of Australia’s Next Generation Defence Suppliers.
